CAJUN FIRE CRACKERS

1 box (4 sleeves) saltine crackers
1 1/3 cup canola or olive oil
1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
1 packet dry Ranch dressing mix
1 2.5 gallon Ziploc bag

Put all ingredients in bag but crackers. Close gab, mix ingredients.
Add crackers, close bag. Turn bag over several times to coat crackers.
Let bag rest for a couple of hours, turning every 15 mins. or so.
Wait one day and they are best. Good to make ahead for a party.

Chipotle Mayo

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce from chipotle peppers
Directions
  1. In a food processor, combine the mayonnaise, chipotle chilies, and adobo sauce. Pulse until smooth and well blended.
